SuitePad is the leading provider of in-room tablets for the hotel industry. The Berlin-based company was founded in 2012 by Moritz von Petersdorff-Campen and Tilmann Volk to advance during-stay digitalisation, foster deeper relationships between hotels and their guests, and generate financial benefits for cruise-lines.

About SuitePad

SuitePad is the leading provider of in-room tablets for the hospitality industry and is now bringing its proven guest-engagement platform from land to sea for cruise lines. Founded in Berlin in 2012 by Moritz von Petersdorff-Campen and Tilmann Volk, SuitePad was created to advance during-stay digitalisation, foster deeper relationships between operators and their guests, and generate measurable financial benefits.

Today, more than 1,000 customers in over 30 countries use SuitePad, including major hotel brands and an increasing number of cruise operators. Usage statistics show that around 80% of guests interact with SuitePad, with up to 70% of room service orders placed via the in-room tablet—clear proof of its impact on guest engagement and onboard revenue.

Purpose-Built for Hospitality

SuitePad’s in-room tablets are specifically and exclusively designed for hospitality, revolutionising the traditional guest directory by acting as a digital concierge in every cabin. Guests can browse daily programmes, book shore excursions, spa appointments and speciality dining, order room service, request amenities, chat with the crew and access personalised recommendations—all from a single device. The tablets also replace cabin phones and TV remote controls, enable targeted guest messaging and integrate seamlessly with PMS and other onboard systems.

The hardware is built for intensive use and prioritises guest privacy, with a robust design and no integrated camera. The software features a modern interface and gives operators a central admin panel to update content, push offers and analyse key metrics such as page views, session duration and generated revenue. In addition to in-cabin tablets, SuitePad’s portfolio includes solutions for guests’ own devices (SuitePad BYOD) and lobby or reception touchscreens (SuitePad Lobby Screen), extending digital guest communication across the entire journey.

Sustainability & Recognition

Sustainability is built into the platform through SuitePad’s Green Option, which lets guests opt out of daily cabin cleaning. Across the installed base this feature helps avoid around one million room cleanings per year, saving an estimated 2,000 tons of CO₂ emissions and roughly €8 million in costs for equipped properties.

SuitePad’s innovation has been recognised repeatedly, most recently in January 2025 when it received the HotelTechAward for “Best Guest Room Tablet” for the sixth year in a row—an endorsement that now extends to its new role as the digital engagement hub for cruise guests worldwide.
